My Soul Rocks – The Crossover Experience, part 2 (May 2018)
Sizlere “The Crossover Experience” serisinin ilk mixtape çalışması “Rock My Soul“da rock&pop parçaların soul coverlarıyla tanıştırırken burada yine enteresan bir konseptle karşınızdayız.

In this new compilation, we are following a different concept as always. While making the tracklist, we surely adhered to the principles of soul music but with different sounds and artists for the first time.
As you all know, we introduced the amazing soul covers of the various rock and pop songs to you in the first mixtape of “The Crossover Experience” series; “Rock My Soul“. Now, we’re back with an interesting concept again. The compilation called “My Soul Rocks” includes the “blue-eyed soul” performers as well as rock, pop and the progressive music artists who give unexpectedly tremendous soul, funk, R&B or even gospel performances.
While listening to this mixtape, you’ll feel how much soul & funk the singers and the groups are full of, such as Kenny Loggins, The Alan Parsons Project or Steely Dan. We proceeded in a chronological order and seperated the tracks with an artificial seperator in form of side A and B. Our aim was to take account of the recording technologies & the instruments and prevent the sharp transitions between the old and the modern sounds.
Enough said, now it’s time for good music! Get ready for an interesting “crossover” experience. Have fun & enjoy the music!
